Branislav Ivanovic private trophy museum revealed by fan

Former Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic has seen his private trophy room go viral after a supporter posted an online video tour of the personal museum.

The 42-year-old former Serbia international built the showroom in his hometown of Sremska Mitrovica to house an extensive collection of silverware, memorabilia, and match shirts gathered across his professional career.

Branislav Ivanovic won 10 trophies with Chelsea across nine years with the Blues

In a video shared on Instagram, a local fan explained that Ivanovic granted him personal access to document the private showroom. The footage revealed an extraordinary exhibition of championship trophies, personal honours, and hundreds of shirts collected during his spells in England and Russia.

Ivanovic keeps a replica of every trophy he has won in his 19-year-long career

The private museum holds over hundreds of shirts alone, with an entire wall adorned solely with jerseys given to Ivanovic and signed by players he either played alongside or faced. Among the shirts on display are jerseys swapped with global stars including Neymar, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and former Inter Milan captain Javier Zanetti.

European honours and Champions League ring

The Serb also has a number of legendary players' signed shirts on the wall of his private museum

The showroom also features replicas of every trophy Ivanovic lifted during his career. Among the most distinctive items is a specialty ring he received as a personal gift from Didier Drogba after Chelsea won the Champions League in 2012.

Ivanovic earned a Champions League winners medal with the Blues that season, though the defender missed out on playing in the final against Bayern Munich. In a famous post-match television interview, Sky Sports reporter Geoff Shreeves informed the Serbian defender live on air that a booking in the semi-final win over Barcelona meant he was suspended for the final.

To honour his goalscoring contributions from defence, Ivanovic framed and displayed individual photographs of all 42 club goals from throughout his career. While known primarily as a rugged right-back and central defender, he regularly delivered crucial goals in high-stakes matches.

Supporters remember the Serbian for several vital European strikes, including his extra-time winner in the Champions League round of 16 against Napoli and his stoppage-time looping header in the 2013 Europa League final against Benfica in Amsterdam.

LED pitch, bar stools, and Jose Mourinho tribute

Amongst other quirky designs, the room has a set of football leg stools for guests to sit on at the bar

Ivanovic also incorporated several quirky design features into the private venue. The ceiling is fitted with an illuminated LED football pitch installed to light the room, while a fully stocked bar features custom stools designed in the shape of footballers' legs for visiting guests.

The museum also includes a presentation slide dedicated solely to quotes about Ivanovic from former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho. The display highlights the Portuguese manager describing Ivanovic as "The Perfect One", paying tribute to the defender's reliability and consistency.

Mourinho gets a mention having won the Premier League, Fa Cup and League cup with the Serbian in the 2014-15 season

The tribute commemorates their shared success at Stamford Bridge, with the source noting that Mourinho won the Premier League, FA Cup, and League Cup with the Serbian defender in the 2014-15 season.

Nine trophy-laden years at Stamford Bridge

Ivanovic spent nine seasons with Chelsea between 2008 and 2017 after joining from Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow. The defender made 377 appearances in all competitions for the west London side, establishing himself as one of the most decorated and respected defenders in the club's history.

He enjoyed a hugely successful era at Stamford Bridge, winning ten trophies with the club. His silverware haul included three Premier League titles, three FA Cups, the League Cup, the FA Community Shield, and the Europa League, alongside his Champions League medal.

Many of the souvenirs displayed across the museum date from his time in Russian football with Lokomotiv Moscow and Zenit Saint Petersburg, alongside the honours he earned with Chelsea. Ivanovic spent several formative years in Moscow before earning his move to the Premier League.

After leaving Chelsea in 2017, the defender returned to Russia with Zenit Saint Petersburg before ending his playing career back in England with West Bromwich Albion in 2021.
