Celtic have agreed a club record fee of more than £11million to sign Danish international Kasper Hogh from Bodo/Glimt.
The 25-year-old is due to arrive in Glasgow on Saturday night to undergo a medical and is expected to sign a four-year contract, with Celtic holding an option to extend the deal by a further year.
Hogh is a long-time target for Celtic and scored 53 goals in 102 appearances for the Norwegian club.
The move comes as Japanese striker Daizen Maeda completes his £10million transfer to Premier League side Ipswich Town after four hugely successful seasons in Glasgow. Maeda, who scored for Japan at the 2026 World Cup, expressed a desire to play in the Premier League and departs Celtic Park having won five Premiership titles, three Scottish Cups and two League Cups.
He scored 79 goals for Celtic, including the key second goal in the title-deciding home win over Hearts back in May.

Speaking after signing for Gary O'Neil's newly promoted side, Maeda said: "I am very proud to sign for Ipswich Town. I have always dreamed of playing in the Premier League and I am very happy I can realise that dream with this club. I have loved all of the conversations with the club and they have made me feel very welcome."
