After apparently finding the net, the player leaped over the pitch-side advertising boards in celebration. He then suddenly disappeared from view, dropping into the stairwell leading to the locker rooms, which had been opened prematurely ahead of halftime.

Injury and disallowed goal

The fall left the captain injured, with TF1info reporting he hurt his ankle. His misfortune did not end there: the goal was ultimately disallowed by the video assistant referee for offside, meaning the celebration that led to the accident had been for nothing.

The clip was published by TF1info's video desk on August 10, 2026, and runs two minutes and eleven seconds.
