Danica Patrick has fired back at trolls who criticized her toned physique after she shared bikini photos from a vacation in Ibiza, Spain.
The 44-year-old racing legend posted a series of images on Monday from her trip to the Spanish island, where she appeared to be joined by a new boyfriend whose identity remains unknown. In one photo, she posed in a bright yellow bikini during a beach day, showing off her toned figure.
Patrick said trolls bodyshamed her over the picture. 'Since many have told me to eat after the last post, I shall show you more meals,' she wrote on her Instagram story alongside a photo of her lunch. She added that her breakfast had been three eggs plus two egg whites and a large homemade slice of sourdough from @brooke_selman with butter and blueberry jam.
She followed up with another post showing her flexing her muscles while paddle-boarding in the ocean, tagging board certified physician and New York Times best-selling author Dr. Gabrielle Lyon. 'If you don't lift weights (like for real) and eat your damn protein (not 2 eggs), you don't have to get muscles. Right bestie? @drgabriellelyon?!' she wrote. 'And the more muscle you have, the more you get to eat!!!!! The end.'
Boyfriend and summer travels
Other photos from her original Instagram post showed Patrick kissing her new boyfriend in what appeared to be a cave-like spot. The pair have kept their relationship low-key but looked loved up in the images. They first went public in December, when Patrick posted photos of the two of them at a luxury hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Besides Ibiza, the couple also spent time in Mykonos, Greece, with a group of friends. 'We did Mykonos right. From what I remember,' Patrick wrote last week, adding in another post that 'summering in Europe has become a ritual.'
Past relationships and Sky Sports exit
Patrick was most recently linked to Carter Comstock, and the pair split in March 2022 after a year of dating. She also previously dated NFL star Aaron Rodgers, a relationship that ended acrimoniously in 2020 while he was still playing for the Green Bay Packers.
Patrick has had more time to herself this summer after departing her role as a Formula One analyst with Sky Sports shortly before the 2026 season began.
