FIFA 19 Ultimate Team: EA Reveals Ratings 100-81

EA Sports has revealed FIFA 19 Ultimate Team ratings 100-81, sparking debate over Arturo Vidal's pace and other stat changes.

EA Sports has revealed the first official Ultimate Team ratings for FIFA 19, unveiling players ranked 100 to 81 on its top 100 list. The reveal has already stirred controversy, with fans questioning Arturo Vidal's pace and Marco Reus' overall rating.

EA poked fun at the controversial nature of the rating announcements with a promotional video featuring footballers including Kevin De Bruyne, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar Jr. In the video, Alexandre Lacazette bins his card in anger after discovering he is slower than teammate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

EA Sports have revealed some FIFA 19 Ultimate Team ratings with 100-81 of the top 100

Every player in the 100-81 range carries an overall rating of 85. Roma centre-back Kostas Manolas comes in at number 100, having been bumped up one overall point. His pace has jumped to 83, alongside 86 defending and 83 physicality.

Vidal and Robben take pace hits

Barcelona's Vidal will be far less pleased with his card. He has been downgraded from an 87 overall, and his pace has dropped sharply from 75 to 57.

His former Bayern Munich teammate Arjen Robben has suffered a similar fate, falling from an 88 overall with his pace cut from 86 to 79. The rest of his stats remain strong, with 88 dribbling, 85 shooting and 81 passing.

Ibrahimovic and Alisson see big changes

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has also dropped, falling from an 88 overall to 85, though that remains a high rating for the MLS. His skill moves have been upgraded back to five stars, and while his pace sits at just 59, his 86 shooting means he should still be lethal in front of goal.

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson received the biggest boost among the group, gaining five overall points with every stat improved. He now holds 82 diving, 88 reflexes, 81 handling, 85 kicking and 83 positioning.

The full list of 100-81 also includes Riyad Mahrez, Raheem Sterling, Blaise Matuidi, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Marco Asensio, Joshua Kimmich, Edin Dzeko, Koke, Reus, Filipe Luis, Vincent Kompany, David Alaba, Fabinho, Virgil van Dijk and Diego Costa, all rated 85.
