The rivals drew 0-0 in the first leg at the same venue, leaving neither team with an advantage. The winner will move on to the quarter-finals, while another draw will take the tie to a penalty shootout.

Fluminense manager Luis Zubeldía named Fábio in goal behind a defense of Guga, Ignácio, Igor Rabello, and Guilherme Arana. Martinelli, Hércules, and Lucho Acosta start in midfield, with Savarino, Canobbio, and John Kennedy in attack.
Vasco manager Pedro Emanuel chose Léo Jardim in goal with Paulo Henrique, Cuesta, Robert Renan, and Cuiabano in defense. Jair, Tchê Tchê, and Thiago Mendes form the midfield, behind Nuno Moreira, Andrés Gómez, and Brenner upfront.
TV Globo will broadcast the match across Brazil except in SP, CE, and PR. The game will also air on SporTV, Premiere pay-per-view, Ge TV on YouTube, and Prime Video streaming.
