Football Manager 2024 will come out on November 6 2023, Sports Interactive has confirmed, making it the last of its kind before widespread changes. Players who pre-order the new football strategy game will get early Beta access two weeks before launch.
Sports Interactive Studio Director Miles Jacobson described the edition as the most complete version produced so far. However, Football Manager Mobile will only be available through Netflix Games, meaning mobile players must pay for a subscription to the streaming service.

Jacobson said: "FM24 is the 20th game in the Football Manager series and it’s a love letter to football. It’s the closing of this chapter of our history and the most complete version we’ve ever produced". The series will switch to the Unity engine for FM25, meaning FM24 will be the final entry using its current user interface and matchday experience.
New features and save transfers
Developers Sports Interactive remain tight-lipped about specific details, but users will be able to transfer saves from FM23 to FM24. Other features include smarter transfers, squad building and finance, intermediaries and offloading players, individual player targets and interaction logic, FMFC exclusive blogs, a set pieces refresh, coaches debut, and truer football motion, match authenticity and positional play.

Earlier this year, Jacobson said: "The vast majority of the team at Sports Interactive are working on FM24, with the idea that it will inarguably be the most complete version of Football Manager to date." The game trailer offers little insight into changes, using images inspired by the current interface to illustrate points. Football Manager reached six million players last month.
