Brighton has increased the offer for Matvienko to 20 million euros

Of these, four million can become bonus payments.

Brighton made a new offer to the miner about buying a protector Nikolai Matvienko.

The English club is ready to pay 16 million euros for Matvienko. Brighton also offered the Miners €4 million in bonus payments.

The Seagulls’ first offer was 11 million euros. In turn, the Miners want to get at least 30 million euros for the Ukrainian.

Matvienko has already agreed on the terms of a personal contract with Brighton. It is expected that the Ukrainian will sign an agreement with the Seagulls for a period of five years.

This season, Matvienko has played 19 matches for Shakhtar. His agreement with the Donetsk club runs until the summer of 2025.

Brighton are sixth in the Premier League with 31 points. Shakhtar is in second position in the UPL and will play in the playoffs of the Europa League in February.
