Palkin joined the UEFA Committee on the Status of Players and Transfers

Newly elected members will serve in the structure for the next four years

CEO Shakhtar Sergei Palkin entered UEFA Committee by status of players, transfers, agents and match agents.

Palkin, together with Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke, will be the only club representatives on the Committee. The remaining members represent national associations.

The first meeting with the participation of Shakhtar’s CEO will take place on November 1 in Nyon, Switzerland. The tenure of new members of the Committee will last four years.

Previously, Palkin did not become a member of the board of the European Clubs Association (ECA). PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi was elected Chairman of the Association and joined the UEFA Executive Committee together with Atlético General Director Miguel Angel Gil.

Shakhtar takes third place in the Ukrainian championship. The miners are also in third place in Group H of the Champions League.
