Chelsea is negotiating with Atletico on the winger transfer Joao FelixThe Portuguese could be part of a deal to bring Conor Gallagher to Madrid.
Earlier, it was reported that the transfer of striker Samu Omorodion from Atletico to Chelsea had fallen through. The clubs do not want the same to happen with the deals for Gallagher and Julian Alvarez. The Blues are discussing the possibility of a move for the Portuguese with his agent Jorge Mendes.
The Madrid club does not count on Felix in the new season. Joao also wants to leave and hopes to become a Barcelona player, for whom he played on loan. At the same time, the high cost of the footballer makes a full transfer impossible for Barcelona.
In the 2023/24 season, Felix played 44 matches for the Catalan club in all competitions. The winger scored 10 goals and made six assists.
Ukrainian Mykhailo Mudryk’s team will play Manchester City in the first round of the new English championship on August 18. Atletico will meet Villarreal in their opening match in Primera on August 19.
