Middleweight boxer Lee Cutler will fight Louis Greene at London's Copper Box Arena on Saturday live on Sky Sports as he aims to position himself for a world title shot against Aaron McKenna.
Cutler is seeking to launch himself directly into the world title picture after previously defeating Aaron McKenna's brother, Stevie McKenna, in a thrilling contest in 2024. A victory over Greene in their 10-round middleweight clash at Zuffa Boxing 11 is expected to propel the Bournemouth fighter toward a potential showdown with the newly crowned IBF champion.
"It's a dangerous fight," Cutler told Sky Sports. "I don't say no. It's a fight that the fans want to see and it's fight that I believe takes me to another level."
Greene comes into the bout with a reputation as a heavy hitter who possesses a tremendous, aggressive style of fighting. Cutler acknowledged the significant threat posed by his opponent, stressing that complete concentration will be crucial throughout the contest.
"[Greene is] tough. Punches extremely hard. I've got to be switched on for the full 10 rounds that we're in there. I'm fully prepared for a hard night," Cutler said.
"It's one of those fights, we're a stepping stone for each other and that's how we've got to see each other," he added. "I've got to be smart in there and box how I know I can box. If I can do that I'll come away with the victory."
Stevie McKenna rematch expectations
Cutler revealed he had originally anticipated a rematch callout from Stevie McKenna following McKenna's recent victory on a major Dublin fight card. Stevie McKenna stopped Owen O'Neill on the undercard of brother Aaron McKenna's IBF middleweight world title victory.
"It does surprise me. I thought I was going to get a callout after," Cutler reflected. "I thought he might not want to fight me on the Dublin card because it's a big night for the family because of the brother and stuff. But I was fully expecting him to get through his opponent and then call me out after that. But the fact he didn't even mention my name, goes to show what he's about."
The McKenna brothers, hailing from Monaghan in Ireland, have established themselves as prominent figures in the 160-pound middleweight division. Aaron McKenna captured the IBF world middleweight belt, bringing a major world championship to the family, while Stevie McKenna has maintained a reputation for explosive knockouts.

With Stevie McKenna failing to issue a challenge, Cutler has turned his attention directly to the top of the division and an eventual clash with Aaron McKenna.
"I think he's very good. I think he's a tough fight for anyone. But he's somebody that I see myself in there with. Bring him on," Cutler declared.
Cutler's path back to contention follows a period of recovery and momentum building. After defeating Stevie McKenna in 2024, Cutler suffered a setback when he lost a technical decision to Sam Eggington in another entertaining bout. He subsequently roared back to form by stopping Aaron Sutton in a homecoming appearance in Bournemouth and earning a win at Zuffa Boxing 07.
High stakes at the Copper Box Arena
Despite his long-term ambition to challenge Aaron McKenna, Cutler stressed that he remains entirely focused on overcoming Greene first in their upcoming London showdown.
"But as I said I'm focusing fully on Louis Greene because he's a very dangerous opponent and if I take my eye off the ball for one second, anything can happen," Cutler warned. "I'm a come forward fighter, he's a come forward fighter, he's a huge puncher, very dangerous. All he has to do is touch somebody and then it's lights out."
The middleweight clash will take place at the Copper Box Arena in Stratford, East London, a venue built for the London 2012 Olympic Games that regularly hosts major domestic and international boxing events. The bout will be broadcast live across the United Kingdom on Sky Sports and available contract-free via NOW.
