Motor Lublin will host Wisła Płock on Friday, 6 November, to kick off round 14 of the Polish Ekstraklasa football season.
The match at 18:00 gives the home side an opportunity to secure their fifth league victory of the campaign as they look to build on their climb away from the relegation zone.
Motor sit 11th in the PKO BP Ekstraklasa standings with 16 points after a strong turnaround. The squad collected 11 points across their last five matches, allowing them to breathe easier following a slow start to the season.
That run featured valuable victories against fellow strugglers. Motor defeated a troubled Cracovia side before recording consecutive wins over Radomiak Radom and Śląsk Wrocław, taking points from teams also sitting in the lower regions of the table.
Mariusz Misiura faces former club Wisła Płock
Friday's fixture offers an extra storyline through Motor manager Mariusz Misiura, who worked at Wisła Płock last season. He now leads his current team against his former club and the players he previously coached.
Wisła Płock sit right behind Motor in 12th place with 15 points, having played one game fewer than their hosts. Płock are likewise fighting to secure a safe position and avoid slipping down the standings.
The visitors arrive after showing their resilience in a 2-2 draw with Piast Gliwice in the previous round. Płock trailed by two goals before mounting a comeback, proving their ability to overturn difficult situations under pressure.
