Nottingham Forest are closing in on the signing of former Reading twins Joseph and Jubilee Ntege following their departure from Reading this summer. The 16-year-olds have attracted interest from several clubs, with German side Augsburg, Norwich City and Belgian club Genk all in the mix for their signature.
Left winger Joseph has also attracted attention from Manchester United and Newcastle United.
Player background and statistics
The twins were born on a Stockholm council estate in Sweden and moved to London with their mother and grandmother. They have already represented the country at Under-15 and U16 level after Reading spotted them playing grassroots football, beating competition from Arsenal, Crystal Palace and Fulham to sign them.
Last season, Joseph registered 35 goals and assists, including 12 goal involvements for the U18s. Jubilee, meanwhile, registered 33 goals and assists, including ten goal involvements for the U18s.
