Olympiacos have included Serbian center Nikola Milutinov in their 13-player squad traveling to Spain to face Baskonia in their EuroLeague opener on September 24.
Head coach Giorgos Bartzokas selected the center among his options for the opening game on Spanish soil, which is scheduled to tip off at 21:30. Olympiacos omitted three players from the traveling party, leaving Omiros Netzipoglou, Nikos Plotas, and Giorgos Bourneles out of the squad for the trip.
The Greek team departed for Spain with a 13-man group. The full roster traveling with Olympiacos includes Codi Miller-McIntyre, Montero, Tyler Dorsey, Cory Joseph, Ward, Sasha Vezenkov, Kostas Papanikolaou, Ndiaye, Evan Fournier, Karagiannidis, Nikola Milutinov, Hall, and Jones.
Baskonia squad availability
Baskonia will suffer a major absence of their own for the European opener, with center Alex Len unavailable for selection. Baskonia head coach Paolo Galbiati confirmed that the Spanish club will rely on the exact same 12-man roster used during the Spanish Super Cup, ensuring that the Ukrainian center remains out of action.
When journalists asked the Baskonia head coach about Len's future at the club, Galbiati avoided giving further details on the situation. He limited his response to a brief statement, instructing reporters to direct any questions regarding the center to the club's management instead.
