Greek football club Olympiacos have officially announced the signing of 34-year-old Swiss international midfielder Remo Freuler following his departure from Italian side Bologna. The Piraeus club confirmed the contract agreement on August 17, 2026.

Freuler will immediately join team training, meeting his new teammates and working under head coach Jose Luis Mendilibar. The midfielder became a free agent after his cooperation with Bologna ended, selecting Olympiacos for the next stage of his career.
