Are you satisfied with the progress of your career? Do you like triple jump?
— Yes, I like to jump. September, October, November were for me the months of withdrawal after the summer season. I ran a lot, almost didn’t jump and I was so bored that now I come to training and wait for the coach to finally let me jump.
– At the same time, you start your career in athletics in the sprint.
– It was just in my childhood.
– You said you left the sprint because you were afraid of the starting gun. Did the fear remain?
No, I’m not afraid anymore.
– But you don’t want to go back running?
“Shoot, but it’s all in the future.
– So you are considering the possibility of changing roles? That is true?
— Yes, I like to run, especially hurdles. I am considering this option. Smooth running is boring. Just like the long jump – you just push off and land immediately. And in the triple, after the first repulsion, there is also the second, you feel, trail, escape. There is more action in the barriers.
– Hurdle running is probably more technically difficult than flowing running.
– There are also many nuances in the proper functioning. Results depend on track, condition. In principle, one cannot say that in certain disciplines it is easy.

– Yes, it’s true. My mother supports me in everything: sports, creativity, studies. All over!
– So you don’t feel the pressure of being the daughter of Olympic champion Irina Privalova?
No, on the contrary, it only helps me! It happens that they announce me at competitions, and then they emphasize that I am the daughter of Irina Privalova. But I don’t mind. On the contrary, I am happy.
– You are brave. Many people in your place would be afraid to dishonor the name.
– There is no. We are all people, all living beings, each has different health, condition, conditions. Mom too, in her career, it happened, not everything went well. She calms me down sometimes. I believe everything will be fine.
– Irina Anatolyevna spent a lot of time as the acting president of ARAF, did a serious job of restoring the federation in World Athletics, lived in constant stress. Was it felt in the family or did you not discuss such topics?
I noticed how tired she was. She was almost never at home, she spent a lot of time on the road, she was in contact with everyone. Because of this, she was very tired. At the same time, it is clear that she puts her soul into it, burns with this work. She wants Russian athletics to flourish. She was engaged in this sport, her daughter is engaged in it, it is her life’s work.
– Now that she is vice-president of the VFLA, there are positive moments for the restoration of our federation in World Athletics. Is she better now?
– May be. I can’t judge if it’s easy or difficult for mom. She hides her emotions. But I hope she gets better.
“SOMETIMES TATYANA LEBEDEV GIVES ME GOOD ADVICE”
– Do you follow the VFLA restoration story yourself, or did you ignore it and just do what you like?
– I used to follow, but now I stopped doing it. I understand that nothing depends on me. I just train, compete and try to show good results.
– Do you believe that our athletics will be back on the international stage in March this year?
– I really want to believe.
Do you want to compete abroad yourself? In theory, it’s a level up, other rivals, fans, place, again.
– Of course, when you go abroad, when you face foreign athletes, the results increase. I would like to go somewhere.
– Athletes from other sports sometimes frankly admit that it is difficult for them to find the motivation to perform in the country. Where do you get it?
– I don’t know where I get the motivation to go to the start each time. But I want to say that we have a lot of strong girls in triple jump in Russia. I have a lot of rivals, it’s interesting to compete with them, the competition is strong. Many can show the best results.
– At the “Memorial of NG Ozolin and VM Dyachkov” you competed with the daughter of Olympic champion Tatyana Lebedeva – Anastasia Matveeva. Judging by your communication, you know each other well. Are you friends?
– We train together. Nastya is a good girl, a very bright person.
– Does not communicate with his mother, does not ask her for advice?
– We rarely communicate with Tatyana Romanovna. But sometimes she gives good advice.

“It’s an important part of my life. I really like transforming. I’ve always loved doing things outside of sports. Sport is a world apart, but something else is needed. I’ve always loved creativity: taking pictures, photographing myself, making certain ideas a reality. Modeling gives me that opportunity.
– Where do you prefer that?
– In sports. Because here everything depends only on you. In this industry, you are chosen, you have to like yourself, and not everyone likes you.
– That is to say that you have to fit into a kind of framework, meet someone’s expectations?
Yes, that’s why I chose sport. I want to do everything myself and rely only on myself.
– Now the situation with overseas flights has become very complicated. In the same Rome with transfers fly almost a day. Do you have filming abroad?
– Yes, if you need to fly somewhere to shoot, now I reserve a day for the road. Basically, I have almost all the filming abroad.
— Isn’t there prejudice against Russian models because of the geopolitical situation?
– Not. But I want to emphasize that from the start of my season, filming takes a back seat. It remains only to study in the third year at Moscow State University, train and participate in competitions.
– What are you studying to be?
– For a culturologist.
– Closely related to your hobbies outside of sports.
– Yes. But during the season, the maximum concentration on sports.
“At the same time, modeling is a rather difficult job. There is a consumerist and often rude attitude towards models, and the working conditions are far from comfortable. Did you have to deal with this?
— In my opinion, it all depends on the country in which you do this job. I mainly fly to Spain, to Barcelona. And it’s very easy for me, because I know the Spanish language well, the local mentality. It’s easy for me to work with the Spaniards.
“I HOPE TO GO TO THE BARCELONA MATCH”
– How did you learn Spanish?
– I studied at the Spanish special school named after Miguel Cervantes from the fifth year. The school helped me a lot, gave me a lot of knowledge. I fell in love with this country, the language, the people, everything. She taught the language on her own.
– How difficult is it for an 11-12 year old girl to adapt to a new country without a serious knowledge of the language?
— I had no such difficulties. First I learned the language, then I started traveling there.
What do you like the most in Spain?
— Food, culture, people, atmosphere, nature. Everyone loves him !

– Favorite city?
– Barcelona.

“There were several. Each is associated with different times in my life. The first thing that comes to mind is a shoot for Russian Vogue in 2018. But, again, it was more about sports. Filmed the participants of the Youth Olympic Games in Argentina. I really liked this shoot, everything was done professionally.
There have been many different photoshoots for Spanish clothing brands, including one of the biggest appearances in the fashion industry. Everything is very delicate and correct.
