Russian figure skater Denis Khodykin announced the breakup of a sports couple with Daria Pavlyuchenko.
– Our joint journey with Pavlyuchenko is over. I am infinitely grateful to Dasha for these years of work. We have been through a lot together: ups, downs, injuries and victories. After Dasha recovered from an injury, we discussed and decided that working together was no longer possible. It was a tough decision for us.
But my career in the sport does not stop there. I intend to continue my career, because figure skating is my life. I like riding, getting pleasure and results from it. The last few months, while skating alone, I took a fresh look at figure skating and was even more excited about it.
What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger! Khodykin wrote on the social network.
Khodykin and Pavlyuchenko are European Championship bronze medalists, world junior champions. They also have two bronze medals from the Russian championships, silver from the National Cup Final.
