Deontay is confident that he will eventually fight with the Ukrainian
Former World Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder returned to Oleksandr Usyk. The American believes that sooner or later he will enter the ring with the Ukrainian champion.
“No, you’re afraid, bro. Let’s just be ourselves. I mean it’s boxing and we’re being ourselves. I’ve been myself ever since I got into this business. And I’ll be myself until the day I die,” Wilder said.
“So you are afraid. We know it. I know a lot. You repeatedly refused our fight. A scared person won’t earn anything, but in the end all roads lead to Deontay Wilder, whatever it is. Therefore, one way or another, but sooner or later we will see each other.
Wilder plans to fight next no later than September. In December, Deontay could fight Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia.
Usyk is preparing for his next fight with British Daniel Dubois. The fight is scheduled to take place on August 26 in Wroclaw, Poland.
