Panathinaikos are ready to request additional tickets from CSKA 1948 for their Europa Conference League third qualifying round second leg in Sofia after selling almost their entire initial allocation. The Greek club initially secured 1,600 tickets for the match in Bulgaria, but high supporter demand has left only 200 tickets available.
Interest in traveling for the fixture surged after the first leg ended in a 1-1 draw, effectively turning the second leg into a final. Panathinaikos fans are seeking to travel in large numbers to support coach Jacob Neestrup and push the team toward qualification.
Ticket allocation and rematch schedule
Panathinaikos FC stated that 1,400 tickets have already been distributed to supporters. The club indicated it may ask CSKA 1948 for extra tickets to meet fan demand ahead of the second leg, which is scheduled for Tuesday, August 11. Club officials said Panathinaikos do not even want to consider the possibility of an early European elimination.
