A parachutist crashed into an advertising board before a football match between Go Ahead Eagles and Willem II in the Netherlands. Telegram channel SHOT reported that match organizers faced the unexpected problem during a planned promotional campaign.
The parachutist was scheduled to land in the center of the pitch before kickoff. However, he failed to control his descent and flew directly into an advertising board positioned behind the goal.
Stadium collision and swimmer report
The man was not seriously injured in the crash. Immediately after the fall, he stood up on his feet and greeted the fans who had gathered at the stadium.
In an earlier report, Russian swimmer Aleksandr Stepanov complained about living conditions in Paris while competing in the European Aquatics Championships. Stepanov stated that he had expected tastier food in the city but was disappointed.
