Smirnova explained that spending time outdoors encourages children to engage in physical activities such as running, jumping, and riding bicycles or scooters. She noted that breathing fresh air helps young people recover more quickly after mental exertion and intellectual strain.

According to the specialist, routine physical exercise assists a child's body in developing stronger immune defense mechanisms. Smirnova warned that a lack of fresh air can lead to sleep schedule disruptions, chronic fatigue, and an increased vulnerability to infections.

Physical Activity and Child Development

Pediatric healthcare focuses on the physical, emotional, and social development of children from infancy through adolescence. Medical experts frequently highlight daily outdoor play as a cornerstone of childhood health, as active movement supports cardiovascular fitness and muscular development.

Exposure to natural light and outdoor environments also plays a key role in regulating circadian rhythms. Proper sleep hygiene is essential for growing children, as deep sleep supports memory consolidation, mood regulation, and immune function.

Championat, a prominent digital sports and wellness outlet based in Russia, regularly publishes expert medical commentary aimed at helping families maintain healthy lifestyle habits.

Adult Fitness and Core Health

The report also highlighted separate fitness advice published by Men Today journalists concerning effective methods for adults over 40 to achieve ideal abdominal muscles. The outlet stated that the key to results lies in combining strength training with cardiovascular exercise while targeting the entire core.

To reduce both subcutaneous fat under the skin and visceral fat stored around internal organs, Men Today recommended pairing regular workouts with a balanced diet. The journalists added that staying hydrated by drinking water throughout the day and prioritizing rest are essential for physical recovery.
