Protothema.gr launched a new football programme called "The Football Show" on Monday, August 24, 2026, with Babis Lykogiannis, a Greek international defender and new signing for AEK, and presenter Christos Ferentinos appearing as guests on the debut broadcast, which aired live from 1pm to 3pm.
The premiere also carried comments from Sola Soretire on PAOK's match against Levadiakos.
"The Football Show" is scheduled to air every weekday, Monday through Friday, from 1pm to 3pm, on protothema.gr, with sponsorship from betting operator Stoiximan.
The programme is hosted by Michalis Tsochos, Grigoris Papavasileiou and Giannikos Douskas.

According to protothema.gr, the show will feature reporting, behind-the-scenes material, interviews, exclusive stories, statistics, and discussion of basketball alongside its football coverage.
New AEK signing
Lykogiannis, a Greek international, is AEK's newest signing. AEK is one of Greece's most successful clubs and plays in the country's top-flight Super League alongside Olympiacos, Panathinaikos, PAOK and Aris, the clubs covered by the new show's reporting team.
PAOK, whose match against Levadiakos was discussed by Soretire on the programme, is a Super League club based in Thessaloniki. Levadiakos also competes in the Super League.
Stoiximan, the show's sponsor, is a betting operator active in the Greek market.
