Real Madrid has issued an ultimatum to Vinicius Jr. over his contract situation, according to Marca: either accept the club’s latest renewal offer or depart in a transfer this window.
The 26-year-old Brazilian’s contract runs out next summer. Real Madrid had been pushing for a new multi-year deal on improved financial terms, but the two sides have yet to reach an agreement, Marca reported.
Vinicius joined Real Madrid from Flamengo in the summer of 2018. In 375 appearances for the club across all competitions, he has recorded 128 goals and 100 assists.
