The Organizing Committee of the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games announced free access to East grandstands at Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium for athletics events.
Organizers stated on Sunday that opening the East grandstands and lower stands at the stadium in Santo Domingo will encourage higher attendance at one of the most popular sports disciplines on the program.
The measure forms part of broader efforts to boost fan attendance while maintaining safety standards and access controls established for the regional tournament.
Ticket booking requirements
To manage crowd size at Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium, spectators must access the online UEPA Tickets platform and request free passes for the East seating areas in advance.

The committee explained that entry will remain strictly ticketed, even for zero-cost seats, to administer capacity properly and ensure security for athletes, officials and fans.
Meanwhile, seats in the West grandstands and lower stands of the Olympic Stadium will remain under the original sales scheme, with prices staying at their previously announced rates.
Free entry for baseball events
The committee also announced that baseball games held at the Olympic Center stadium will feature free admission for all spectators.
In addition, bleacher seats at Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium will be open free of charge to allow more fans to watch the tournament games.
Organizers noted that ticketing controls were created for venue security, though 85 percent of all events at the Games were set as free from the start. The committee called on the public to continue supporting athletes across the region while following all event guidelines.
