Shiho Kuwaki beat Esther Henseleit in a play-off to win her maiden major title at the AIG Women's Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes.

Kuwaki pipped Henseleit in the final round to secure the victory. Charley Hull and Lottie Woad finished tied-sixth.
