Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva climbed 15 places in the WTA rankings. The 17-year-old athlete reached the semi-finals of the Grand Slam tournament in Paris (France) last week. Mirra now occupies 23rd place in the WTA rankings.
The Polish Iga Swiatek retains her leading position in the world rankings. For the third year in a row she became the winner of Roland Garros. American Cori Gauff for the first time became the second racket in the world, and Belarusian Arina Sabalenka now occupies third place.
Russia’s strongest tennis player Daria Kasatkina has lost one place in the rankings and is now at 14th place. There are two other Russians in the top 20: Lyudmila Samsonova (15) and Ekaterina Alexandrova (16).
