FC Porto midfielder Victor Froholdt is expected to be available for Sunday's derby against Benfica at the Estádio do Dragão following his recovery from a concussion.
The Danish midfielder sustained the injury on 4 September during a match against Moreirense after a clash with Guilherme Liberato. He was admitted to hospital that evening and discharged the following day.
Froholdt subsequently completed a mandatory medical protocol for concussion injuries before gradually reintegrating into squad training. By Thursday, despite continuing to work on a restricted basis, his physical condition was reported as favorable.

The player's recovery represents positive news for the FC Porto head coach ahead of the rivalry match. Froholdt has become a key player in the team's tactical dynamics since moving to the club in the summer of 2025.
Statistical data underscores the midfielder's importance to FC Porto. Since arriving at the club, Froholdt has missed only three matches, including recent fixtures against Manchester City and Casa Pia.

Froholdt previously proved decisive against Benfica during last season's meeting at the Estádio da Luz on matchday 25, scoring one of FC Porto's goals in a 2-2 draw.
