AEK Athens is closing in on the transfer of Milan Vitalis, a move that would bring the club a player who arrives with a head start on chemistry with fellow Hungarian international Barnabas Varga.

The two players have already played together while wearing Hungary's national team jersey, building an initial on-field understanding that could prove valuable at AEK as well.

Vitalis and Varga have featured together in five Hungary national team matches, for a combined total of 163 minutes of shared playing time on the pitch.

During that stretch, Hungary scored 10 goals and conceded 7, with the team averaging 2 points per game, a sign that their joint presence coincided with positive results for the national side.
