Olympic gymnastics champion Angelina Melnikova said on her Telegram channel that she has not received a visa to Croatia two days before her scheduled departure for the European Gymnastics Championships.
Melnikova expressed hope that the situation would change, but she did not disclose further details.

Federation reports delays
The Russian Gymnastics Federation previously stated that top members of the national team were experiencing problems obtaining Croatian visas ahead of the tournament in Zagreb. The federation reported that several athletes, one coach, and one doctor have not yet received their visas, including Olympic champions Angelina Melnikova and Viktoria Listunova.
Two days remain before the team's planned departure for Zagreb. The European Gymnastics Championships will take place in the Croatian capital from August 13 to 23, where Russian athletes are scheduled to compete without national symbols.
