Ukrainian boxer earned himself fame in a fight against American Jaron Ennis
Former World Welterweight Champion Vyacheslav Senchenkocoach of Ukrainian boxer Karen Chukhadzhyan (21-2, 11 KOs), shared his ward’s plans for the future.
“In April, we plan to make a fight in Europe. We want to close the loss to Ennis and have the next fight in the USA.”
“A big plus is that Karen showed up, he showed a good fight, they started talking about him in the world. He is already known not only in Ukraine or Germany, he is already known in the UK, Eddie Hearn spoke about him in one of his interviews,” said Senchenko.
Chukhadzhyan lost the fight for the status of a mandatory contender for the IBF championship belt against American Jaron Ennis. The fight took place in Washington on the undercard duel between Gervonta Davis and Hector Luis Garcia. Ennis for the first time in his career went the whole distance, and the judges unanimously gave him all the rounds (three times 120-108).
The last fight before the fight against Ennis Chukhadzhyan held in early July last year. Karen defeated Australian Blake Minto to defend his IBF Intercontinental Championship.
