Russian wrestlers obtained two additional licenses for the Paris Olympic Games

Free wrestlers Arthur Nayfonov and Alikhan Zhabrailov won two licenses for Russia for the Paris Olympic Games during the European qualifying tournament in Baku.

In the semi-finals in the weight category up to 86 kg, Naifonov defeated Georgian Vladimir Gamkrelidze.

Zhabrailov reached the final of the tournament in Baku, defeating Ukrainian representative Ilya Archaya.

In total, Russian wrestlers won six licenses for the 2024 Olympic Games in Baku.

The qualifying tournament takes place in Baku from April 5 to 7, licenses for the Games are not registered. The Paris Olympic Games will take place from July 26 to August 11.
