Caroline Dubois could face Elif Nur Turhan in a lightweight world title unification fight after the Turkish champion signed for Most Valuable Promotions. Dubois, who is already signed to MVP, had previously expressed frustration after being unable to agree terms for a unification bout with Turhan. Those negotiations could become simpler now both world lightweight champions are aligned with the promotional company co-founded by Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian.
The unbeaten British champion currently holds the WBC and WBO lightweight titles and wants to add Turhan's IBF belt. Dubois will defend her WBC and WBO belts against American challenger Amelia Moore at the bp pulse LIVE arena in Birmingham on August 29. The bout takes place on the card headlined by Mikaela Mayer against Chantelle Cameron, which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Every fight on the main card of the Birmingham event, branded as MVPW-06, will feature a UK versus USA contest. Dubois enters her upcoming defence having recently parted ways with trainer Shane McGuigan.
Turhan's IBF championship record
Turhan is undefeated in 14 professional fights and is the first Turkish boxer to join the MVP roster. She won the IBF world lightweight championship following a stoppage of Beatriz Ferreira. The Turkish fighter has since retained her world title with victories over Gabriella Tellez and Taylah Gentzen.
