Chelsea have completed the signing of Jordan Henderson, announcing that the midfielder has joined as a free agent on a contract running until the summer of 2028.
The 36-year-old remains in London after leaving Brentford, with Chelsea bringing in a player with vast experience and years of Premier League football to strengthen their midfield.
Career path to Chelsea
Henderson began his career at Sunderland before moving to Liverpool in 2011. There he became a leading figure at the club, wore the captain's armband, and celebrated winning the Champions League and a Premier League title that ended a 30-year wait for the Reds.
After leaving Anfield in 2023, he played for Al-Ettifaq, Ajax and Brentford in turn before deciding to continue his career at Chelsea.
