Nintendo has announced that its Nintendo Switch Diablo III: Eternal Collection bundle will include a range of special items when it launches on Friday, November 2. The bundle centers on an exclusive console and dock featuring Diablo III artwork, along with a download code and a carrying case.

The Diablo III: Eternal Collection package includes the original version of the game, all game content updates, the Reaper of Souls expansion pack and the Rise of the Necromancer content pack. It also adds a set of items designed specifically for Nintendo fans, including a Tri-Force portrait frame, the Legend of Ganondorf cosmetic armor set, the Echoes of the Mask cosmetic wings and a Chicken pet.

Timing and availability
The announcement arrives as recent leaks have suggested that the title of a new entry in the Diablo franchise may have been revealed in Blizzard Entertainment's online merchandise shop. In the United States, the special bundle will be sold exclusively at GameStop.

The Diablo III: Eternal Collection bundle will cost $359.99, or about £273.74, and is set for release on Friday, November 2.

What is Diablo III?
Diablo III is an action role-playing game set in the dark fantasy world of Sanctuary, published and developed by Blizzard Entertainment. It is the successor to 1996's Diablo and 2000's Diablo II, and it launched on May 15, 2012 to critical acclaim and record-breaking sales, moving 3.5 million copies in its first day alone and 6.3 million copies in its first week.

The game's expansion pack, Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, came out on March 25, 2014, while the downloadable content pack Diablo III: Rise of the Necromancer followed on June 27, 2017. As of June 2015, Diablo III and its expansion pack had sold 30 million units worldwide combined.
