Eden Hazard and Virgil van Dijk have been unveiled as the cover stars for next year's edition of FIFA, FIFA 20. Real Madrid's £150million recruit Hazard will appear on the front cover of the standard edition, while Liverpool defender Van Dijk will front the Champions edition.

The game will be released worldwide on September 27, with the Champions League version available three days earlier via pre-order.

Player reactions to FIFA 20 covers
Speaking about the new front covers, Hazard said: "EA SPORTS FIFA is the biggest Football game on the planet, and I have been playing it for years against my brothers. I am lucky to have been on the cover before but to be on FIFA 20 globally is amazing and I hope to excite as many gamers as I do when I take the field for Real Madrid this season!"

Holland international Van Dijk revealed he is an avid player of the game and described the selection as a huge honour.

"It is a huge honour for me to be on the cover of FIFA 20," Van Dijk said. "I've been playing FIFA for as long as I can remember and so it's an extremely proud moment for me to be representing Liverpool on the cover of such an iconic game."
