Christopher Nkunku collided with his national team-mate during training and will not be going to Qatar.
The French national team suffered its first defeat, even without having time to go to the World Cup. In one of the last training sessions, which took place on the night of November 15, forward Christopher Nkunku was injured.
The Leipzig striker during the session got in touch with a partner in the national team, Eduardo Camavinga. The contact was so painful that Nkunku immediately grabbed his knee.
After that, on the official page of the French national team on Twitter, an official confirmation appeared – Nkunku will not play in the 2022 World Cup.

Note that this is not the first defeat of the reigning world champions before the start of the Mundial in Qatar on November 20. Previously, Paul Pogba and N’Golo Kante were not included in the team’s squad for the 2022 World Cup due to injuries.
At the moment, it is not known if Didier Deschamps will call up someone to the national team to replace Nkunku.
France will play their first match in Qatar on November 22 against Australia.
