The Spanish giants have no intention of signing the star striker
Head coach Barcelona Javi Hernandez commented on the rumors about the possible return of the striker PSG Neymar to the Spanish team. The coach noted that now the club has other priorities.
“Neymar? I’m surprised… He’s not in our plans. I really like Neymar as a friend, but we have different [трансферные] priorities,” Xavi said.
Neymar intends to leave PSG in the summer. Recent protests from Parisian fans have prompted the striker to think about leaving the team.
The Brazilian wants to stay in Europe and has turned down an offer from the Saudi Arabian club of 400 million euros. Manchester United and a number of other Premier League clubs are interested in the striker’s services.
In the 2022/23 season, Neymar made 29 appearances for PSG in all competitions, scoring 18 goals and providing 17 assists. The striker has not been on the field since February due to an injury.
Barcelona became the champion of Spain in the 2022/23 season. PSG won the French championship.
