The Brazilian left the field in tears
National team forward Brazil Neymar suffered a knee injury in a qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup against Uruguay.
The Brazilian striker was substituted late in the first half and left the field in tears on a stretcher. The extent of his injury is still unknown, as is the timing of his return to the field.
Let us remind you that Neymar recently recovered from a previous injury. This season, the 31-year-old striker has played only 5 matches for Al-Hilal, in which he scored one goal and gave three assists.
The Brazilian national team lost to Uruguay on the road with a score of 0:2. After four rounds played, the Brazilian team ranks third in the South American qualifying standings for the 2026 World Cup.
