Living her last year in office, the president of Palmeiras, Leila Pereira, responded to critics of her management and sent a strong message
At the end of her term, the president of the Palm trees, Leila Pereira gave an interview to the program “Mais Você”, on TV Globo, and spoke about the balance of his administration, which began in 2022, in addition to also commenting on the opposition group that has been formed, even highlighting that it is made up of few people.
“If a door opens, even if it’s this size, it’s up to us to throw the door open. When the opportunity passes, I grab it hard. I have a few critics at the club, because at the club there is always someone wanting their place, it is difficult to criticize this management. The work is not just Leila’s, it’s all the people who are by my side.“, said.
Fun fact of the day:
Leila Pereira went to Mais Você wearing sandals that cost €1,250 (R$6,783.85).

Soon after, Leila was still firm in her response to critics of her work as president of Palmeiras. Accused of not accepting being contradicted, the leader explained why she always responds to criticism directed at herself and her work at the club.
“From the half dozen who like to appear at the expense of management, they say that I don’t like being contradicted. Now tell me, Ana, do people say all these barbaric things and I have to keep quiet? When they step on my foot I respond by telling the truth”, added the head of Verdão’s management.
As previously mentioned, Leila’s tenure at the helm of Palmeiras ends at the end of the current season, but she has already announced that she will run in a new election. Unlike her first term, the opposition promises to place a competitor for the current president, in order to change the political group that will command the club for the next three years.
