The coach is pleased with the outcome of the confrontation
Mentor Ingulets Vasily Kobin commented on the draw with Kryvbas (1:1) in the fourth round of the 2024/25 UPL.
“A good game: both my team and Kryvbas liked it. In the second half, the opponent showed character. Despite the tight and intense schedule, Kryvbas stepped up and it was tough for us. My players were well prepared for this game and showed courage. Somewhere we lacked class, but I hope that after Rukh and the break for national team games, we will catch our breath a little and prepare better for the next matches.”
“We are focused on winning every match. Here we need to analyze today’s match: we started well, scored, controlled the game, but then Kryvbas turned the tide of the match and equalized the score. We went for high pressure, but Kryvbas took advantage of this and scored in response. I think, overall, a draw is a natural result.”
“I like aggressive vertical football. But you need to find a balance here. There should be ball control, pressing, and good transition phases. We still need to work on this. We manage to do it at times. Of course, everyone is studying us, and it is very difficult to counter such “monsters” as Kryvbas, Poliesie, Dynamo, Shakhtar, Zorya. They are all experienced fighters.”
Ingulets is in 11th place. After four games, Kobin’s team has three points.
In the fifth round, the opponent of the club from Petrovo will be Rukh. The match is scheduled for Friday, August 30.
