The U19 team, after a double friendly test against Slovenia in August (two wins: 2-0 in Manzano and 2-1 in Ajdovščina), will return to the field from 4 to 10 September for an international friendly tournament in Croatia, where they will challenge equally rated England and Germany, as well as the Croatian hosts. Coach Alberto Bollini calls up 22 players, all born in 2006, with the exception of five European U17 champions: Mattia Liberali in 2007, Mattia Mosconi, Federico Nardena and Emanuele Sala and Francesco Camarda in 2008. The Azzurri will make their tournament debut on Wednesday 4 September (17:00) against England at the Nedelišće Stadium, before facing Germany on Saturday 7 (15:00) at the Podravina Stadium in Ludbreg and finally on Tuesday 10 (11:00) against Croatia, again in Čakovec.
