Ukraine national team U-16 lost Israel in the final match of the tournament in Murcia – 1:2.
The blue-and-yellows conceded the first goal at the beginning of the second half. Later, Yaroslav Kozhushko converted a penalty, scoring the only goal for the Ukrainians in the tournament. However, Israel snatched victory at the end of the match, also after a penalty.
Yuri Moroz’s team suffered three defeats at the tournament in Murcia. Earlier, the blue-yellows lost to their peers from England (0:3), and also conceded eight goals from France.
The coaching staff called 22 players to the training camp in Murcia. According to Moroz, the first task is to get to know the players and give playing time to players who previously might not have made the team.
