Dimitris Giannakopoulos, owner of Panathinaikos basketball club, said he suffered multiple heart attacks in 2020, telling interviewer EuroInsiders he went into cardiac arrest and was revived four times.
Giannakopoulos said he saw a straight line and a light during the episodes. He said he later spent three years at his home in Sounio and came out of it completely changed as a person and in character, saying he saw life differently afterward.
Belief in Sounio's energy
Giannakopoulos said some people believe Greece has energy centers and others do not, naming Delphi, Sounio and Delos as places where the energy is supposedly different, adding that for him it is certain. He said that as soon as he passes Lavrio heading down to Sounio, he feels an internal change, and that being isolated there helps him think through problems and plan strategy. He also referred to a person named Fri, saying he sits in a chair and is smarter than him.
