Forward Nic Petan has experience playing in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Minnesota Wild, Iowa Wild and Hartford Wolf Pack farm clubs.
In the 2023–24 season, he played six games in the National Hockey League (NHL) for Minnesota, recording two assists. He also played 44 games for Iowa with 12 goals and 28 assists, as well as 15 games for Hartford with three goals and five assists.
During his athletic career, Petan represented the Winnipeg Jets, Toronto Maple Leafs and Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League.
