Athletistic / Hockey A member of the executive committee of the Slovak Hockey Federation, Michal Gandzus, quit his post in protest at the organization’s decision not to ban Slovak KHL players from playing for the national team.

“I am resigning from my position, and I am also resigning from all functions within the federation. Most of the members of the executive committee have decided to continue calling our hockey players in the Slovak national team playing in the KHL, and I respect this decision.

However, this decision is against my values, so in the future I don’t see myself as part of this organization,” Sport.sk quoted Gandzus as saying in a statement.
