Egypt national team forward Mohamed Salah will sign a contract with Turkish club Trabzonspor, according to a post on the team's Instagram account.
The club published photos showing Salah inside an airplane wearing a Trabzonspor jersey with the number 61. Trabzonspor specified that the player will officially sign his contract with the new club in the near future.
Liverpool Career and Turkish League
During the 2025-2026 season, Salah played 39 matches in all competitions for Liverpool, scoring 12 goals and making nine assists. The Egyptian player has represented the English team since 2017.
Trabzonspor finished in third place in the Turkish championship last season. The current season in the Turkish league is set to start on August 14.
