Olympic bronze medalist in diving Viktor Minibayev announced his retirement.
Minibaev took a break from performing after the Tokyo Games to deal with health issues.
– Was there a physical opportunity to stay in the sport?
– Probably not – injuries. And yes, it was really hard. If you stay, you should have done so right after the Olympics. And so there was already a big break … – Minibaev told .
Minibaev, 31, in addition to bronze at the 2020 Olympics, has won several medals at the world championships, is a seven-time European champion and a multiple Russian champion.
