In Germany, the next biathlon medals were played.
The Biathlon World Championship continues in Oberhof (Germany). As part of the competition day, the women’s pursuit race was held.
The winner at the start was the representative of France, Jules Simon, who made one miss in four shootings.
Second place went to German Denise Herrmann-Wick, who started first after winning the sprint. The final gap from first place was 27 seconds.
The top three was closed by Norwegian Marte Olsby Royseland. In four shots, he missed three, affecting a backlog of 37 seconds.
Ukraine in this discipline is represented by Yulia Dzhima, Elena Bilosyuk and Anastasia Merkushina. The best biathlete from Ukraine was Yuliya Dzhima, she was 14th. Bilosyuk and Merkushina became 48th and 49th.
