Norwegian Simen Kruger won the skiathlon competition at the World Ski Championships in Slovenia.
The athlete covered a distance of 30 km (15 km in classic style + 15 km in skating) in 1 hour 9 minutes 40.3 seconds.
Second place was taken by another Norwegian Johannes Klebo. He lost to Kruger by 12.2 seconds.
The bronze medal also went to Norway’s representative, Shuru Ryota, who lost 14.1 seconds to Kruger.
