Attack Vorskla Taulant Seferi moved to Baniyas from Abu Dhabi on loan until summer 2024.
Earlier, Vorskla vice-president Oleg Lysak said that the Poltava club has the opportunity to make money on the deal. The contract spells out a combination of payments that the Ukrainian team will receive.
Dnipro-1 was also interested in the services of the 26-year-old Seferi, who offered one million euros for the forward’s transfer. The player himself was offered a salary of 500 thousand euros per year.
Last season, Seferi played 28 matches for Vorskla in all competitions, in which he scored 13 goals.
Vorskla finished fifth in the UPL and will play in the Conference League qualification with the Georgian Dila. The match of the first round of the UPL between the team of Viktor Skrypnyk and SC Dnipro-1 has been postponed indefinitely due to the participation of teams in European competitions.
